Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 jars Old English sharp cheese
1 1/2 sticks oleo (soft)
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 lb. white loaf bread
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except butter, in mixer until smooth. Cut bread in small rounds with cutter (about 1 1/2-inch diameter). Cover one round with spread, then top with another round of bread.
Cover with spread on top and sides as if icing a cake. Place all \"iced\" rounds on cookie sheet and freeze.
When frozen, can be transferred to a plastic bag and kept in freezer until ready to bake.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Serve warm.
Makes about 50 to 60.
