Sausage Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh pork sausage or Italian sausage, casing removed
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. buttermilk baking mix
    4 tsp. bourbon
    1 tsp. dried sage, crushed
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. minced green onions
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine sausage, buttermilk mix and bourbon in a mixing bowl.
    Mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
    Form 1-inch balls and place on rack on cookie sheet, so that sausage fat drains.
    Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Remove from rack immediately.
    Serves about 60.
