Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 c. mushrooms
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Brown
    chicken in oil.
    Remove from pan.
    Lightly brown onion, green pepper, garlic and mushrooms.
    Return chicken to pan. Combine
    tomato
    paste with remaining ingredients.
    Pour over chicken.
    Simmer, uncovered, 35 to 45 minutes.
