Country Granola - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
2 c. flaked coconut
2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. brown sugar (light brown)
1/2 c. honey
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2/3 c. vacuum packed wheat germ
1 1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Combine oats, coconut and nuts in large pan (11 x 15). Bake 20 minutes at 300\u00b0, stirring occasionally. Melt butter in medium-size saucepan. Add brown sugar and honey. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Add wheat germ to oats. Drizzle with butter mixture. Toss. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes. Add raisins. Toss again. Press mixture into pan. Bake additional 5 to 7 minutes. Cool. Store in airtight container.
