Sweet And Sour Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. cooked, cleaned shrimp
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 c. green pepper strips
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Preheat frypan.
    Melt butter in frypan.
    Saute shrimp 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add pineapple (with juice), ginger, green pepper, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce.
    Blend well. Cover.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
    Spoon out a little liquid and mix with cornstarch.
    Pour into shrimp mixture and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
    Serve over rice. Makes 6 servings.
