Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

6 oz. spaghetti
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 c. cottage cheese
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Cook spaghetti.
Stir margarine into spaghetti while it is hot. Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs.
Form spaghetti into a crust in a buttered 10-inch pie plate.
Spread cottage cheese over bottom of spaghetti crust.
Cook ground chuck, onions and green pepper until vegetables are tender and meat is brown.
Drain off excess fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt; simmer. Turn meat mixture into spaghetti crust.
Bake uncovered in 350\u00b0 oven 20 minutes.
Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake 5 minutes more or until cheese melts.
(May use Prego or Ragu spaghetti sauce instead of making this sauce.)
