Oven-Steamed Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raw white rice
    dash of pepper
    3 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a 1 1/2-quart ungreased casserole with tight fitting lid, combine all ingredients.
    Cover and bake for 45 minutes (don't peek; don't stir).
    To serve, fluff up lightly with a fork.
    Serves 6 to 8.
