Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. fresh pork
1 chicken (3 lb. fryer)
1 large onion
3 Tbsp. chicken fat
5 c. chicken broth (reserve)
1 small bottle ketchup
1 can tomatoes
1 can creamed corn
2 tsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg. frozen butter beans
potatoes
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cook pork and chicken in enough water to simmer.
Simmer covered until simmered.
Skin meat from bones.
Strain broth and skim off fat.
Save for use.
Heat chicken fat or margarine in large heavy skillet.
Add onion and cook gently until tender.
