Hash Brown Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
    10 oz. grated medium Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. melted butter (for topping)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs (for topping)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except potatoes and those listed for topping, with electric mixer until well blended.
    Place hash browns in 4-quart casserole dish; pour cheese mixture over hash browns.
    Cover with bread crumbs.
    Pour melted butter allotted for topping over bread crumbs.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
