Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, minced
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
    4 c. sliced, scraped carrots, cooked and drained
    6 slices American cheese
    2 c. buttered fresh bread crumbs
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Saute the onion in butter.
    Stir in flour, seasoned salt and seasoned pepper. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Arrange a layer of carrots in a 2-quart casserole.
    Place 3 slices of cheese over the carrots.
    Repeat layers.
    Pour the sauce over the carrots and top with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes.
