Reunion Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2/3 soup can of water
1 1/2 c. rice
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
8 chicken breasts or 1 frying chicken
Preparation

Melt butter in large sauce pan.
Cook onions in butter until soft.
Stir in soups and water.
Spread rice in ungreased casserole dish.
Sprinkle onion soup mix over rice.
Pour about half the soup mixture into casserole and stir well.
Arrange chicken in casserole.
Pour remaining soup mixture over chicken. Bake, uncovered at 275\u00b0 for 3 hours.
Makes 6-8 servings.
