Velvet Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk or water
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or round pan, 9 x 1 1/2-inches.
Beat all ingredients, except topping, on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds.
Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 4 minutes.
Pour into pan.
Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
