Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. plain flour, sifted
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. Crisco
1 c. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. baking powder
6 eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. orange extract
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add one egg at a time and beat well after each addition.
Add flavorings.
Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with milk.
Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in preheated oven.
Do not open oven door while baking.
