Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine, divided
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) carton French onion dip
    1 small jar Cheez Whiz
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, including 1/4 cup melted butter. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
