Bee'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water over quick oats.
    Add butter or margarine.
    Let stand for 20 minutes.
    Then add remaining ingredients into mixing bowl and beat approximately 2 minutes. Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 25 minutes.
    A tooth pick stuck into the center of the cake should come out clean.
