Brandy Peaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. sugar (for each lb. peaches)
1/2 pt. water (to each lb. sugar)
Preparation

Boil these together.
Add peaches and boil until a straw can easily penetrate to the stone.
Take out the peaches and put into jars.
Mix equal parts of syrup and brandy and pour this over peaches, filling the jars and covering with syrup.
Seal.
