Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sauerkraut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 large onion
    1 green pepper
    1 c. celery
Preparation
    Drain kraut.
    Pour sugar on and let set 1 hour (overnight works good).
    Chop or grind the onion, pepper and celery.
    Add all ingredients to kraut and refrigerate.
    Can be frozen and still taste good.
