Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 bay leaves
1 minced clove garlic
1/2 tsp. celery seed
12 hard-cooked eggs, shelled
Preparation

Combine vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, garlic, celery seed, 1 cup water and 1 teaspoon salt.
Bring to boiling.
Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Cool.
Place eggs in jar. Pour mixture over eggs. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 days.
To serve, remove from liquid and cut lengthwise.
Makes 12 eggs.
