Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked squash
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 oz. sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. mild Cheddar cheese
    2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash, onion and butter in a large skillet.
    Drain off excess butter and place into a large casserole dish.
    Add salt, pepper, sour cream, soup and shredded cheese; mix well.
    Add 1 cup of bread crumbs to mixture to thicken.
    Top casserole with other cup of bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 to 45 minutes.
