Chocolate Candy Bar Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chocolate wafer cookie crumbs
    1/2 c. sugar, divided
    1/2 c. spread stick, melted
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (12 oz.) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1 c. chopped chocolate covered candy bars
    3 c. cold milk
    2 (4 serving size) pkg. chocolate instant pudding and pie filling
Preparation
    Mix cookie crumbs and 1/4 cup of sugar and spread in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Press firmly on bottom of pan.
    Refrigerate 10 minutes.
    Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar in medium bowl until smooth.
    Gently stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping.
    Spread over crust.
    Sprinkle chopped candy bars over cream cheese layer.
    Pour milk into large bowl.
    Add pudding mixes.
    Beat with wire whisk 1 minute.
    Pour over chopped candy bar layer.
    Let stand 5 minutes or until thickened.
    Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding layer.
    Refrigerate 2 hours.
    Garnish with additional chopped candy bars, if desired.
    Cut into squares.
    Keep refrigerated.
