French Onion Soup(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium onions, sliced thin
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 (10 oz.) cans beef broth
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 slices toasted French bread
    1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    In 3 quart casserole, place onions and butter; cover. Microwave on High 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes.
    Add broth, water, salt and pepper.
    Cover and microwave on High 8 to 10 minutes.
    Spoon soup into 6 individual bowls and top each serving with 1 slice toasted bread.
    Divide cheese evenly among servings (1/4 cup per serving).
    Microwave up to 3 bowls at a time, allowing 3/4 to 1 minute per serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
