Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 c nuts, chopped
2 c. apples, finely chopped

Preparation
