Shrimp Creole(Makes 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, mashed
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 lb. cooked shrimp
Preparation
    Combine butter, onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in a 2- or 3-quart casserole.
    Cook, uncovered, on High for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, sugar, chili powder and hot pepper sauce.
    Cook, uncovered, on High for 7 minutes, stirring once.
    Combine cornstarch with 2 teaspoons cold water.
    Stir into casserole.
    Cook, uncovered, on High for 3 minutes, stirring once.
    Add shrimp.
    Cook, uncovered, on High for 2 minutes or until shrimp is piping hot.
    Serve with wild rice or plain boiled rice.
