Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. instant chocolate mix
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Sift together flour, salt and instant chocolate mix.
Mix butter and sugar until creamy and add each egg, one at a time and mix well.
Add food coloring and vanilla.
Mix buttermilk, vinegar and soda.
Blend on low speed with an electric mixer, adding flour mixture, creamed butter and sugar mixture and buttermilk mixture alternately and mixing well after each addition.
