Karo Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 c. pecans, halves or chopped
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients for filling together, adding pecans last. Pour
    into\tpie
    shell and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat
    to
    350\u00b0
    and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
    When pie is done,
    outer edges of filling should be set and center slightly soft.
