Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans beef consomme
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans onion soup
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix (Comet or Uncle Ben's)
    1 c. plain uncooked rice
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 2 1/2 to 3-quart casserole.
    Add consomme, onion soup and seasoning from wild rice package.
    Add rice and mushrooms.
    Stir.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 12 to 14.
