Broccoli-Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    2 onions, cut into wedges
    1/8 c. margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. shredded sharp American cheese
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/8 c. margarine
Preparation
    Cook
    broccoli until tender.
    In another saucepan, cook the onions in boiling, salted water until tender;
    drain each. In saucepan, melt 1/8 cup of margarine.
    Blend in flour, salt and dash
    of
    pepper
    if
    desired.
    Add milk.
    Cook, stirring constantly,
    until
    thick
    and bubbly.
    Reduce heat; add cream cheese
    and stir until smooth.
    Mix the sauce into the vegetables. Turn
    into
    a
    greased
    casserole and top with shredded cheese. Melt
    1/8
    cup
    of
    margarine
    and mix with the bread crumbs. Sprinkle on top of the casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until heated through.
