Venison And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, chopped
    3/4 lb. ground venison
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; add venison, onion and seasonings.
    Cook over medium heat until meat is browned.
    Add tomatoes; cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 40 minutes.
    Serve over a bed of rice.
