Sourdough Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Sourdough Start
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    2 c. flour or as much as needed
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Let rise until double; knead down.
    Roll out.
    Cut and let rise until light.
    Fry in deep fryer.
    Makes 6 servings.
