Barbecued Stuffed Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 doz. large shrimp
1 c. cooked crab meat
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet; saute onions, celery and green pepper, using medium heat.
Stir in flour and milk, stirring constantly, until thick.
Add bread crumbs, crab meat, Worcestershire sauce, chopped parsley, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Remove shells and veins from shrimp, leaving tails on.
Slit backs of shrimp.
Put two shrimp together with crab stuffing.
Hold together with toothpicks.
Chill in refrigerator until ready to cook.
Place shrimp in broiler pan, 5 inches from broiler unit.
Baste occasionally with sauce until shrimp are done, about 5 minutes on each side.
Serves 6.
