Granny'S Chocolate Cake From Scratch - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Bring water, cocoa,
oil and margarine to a boil.
Sift flour, sugar and salt into bowl.
Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.
Add
eggs,
buttermilk,
soda
and
vanilla. Cook in greased pan at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes, no longer.
