Microwave French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced onions
    1 Tbsp. diet margarine
    2 packets beef broth mix
    2 c. water (hot)
    pepper
Preparation
    Combine onion and margarine in a microwave-safe dish covered with Saran Wrap and vented.
    Cook on High 5 minutes or until onion is golden.
    Dissolve broth mix in hot water and add to onions. Add pepper to taste.
    Microwave on High 2 minutes.
    Sprinkle with shredded cheese if desired.
    Serve with French bread toast.
    Makes 2 servings.
