Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small green pepper
    3 ribs celery, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 medium carrot, grated
Preparation
    Shred cabbage.
    Place in bowl and sprinkle with salt; then toss.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Squeeze out liquid; do not rinse. Add green pepper, celery, onion and carrot.
    Toss.
