Turkey Crescent Almondine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. turkey or chicken, cooked
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    2/3 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
    2/3 c. shredded cheese
    2 to 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, add first 8 ingredients.
    Cook until hot and bubbly.
    Pour into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
