Christmas Coffee Breads - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    3/4 c. warm water
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. sour cream
    5 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    soft butter
    1 c. cut-up candied fruit
    10x Sugar Icing
    candied cherries, halved
    silver dragees (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in a large bowl with warm water.
    Add buttermilk, sour cream, 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, shortening, baking powder and salt.
    Blend 30 seconds on low speed.
    Beat 2 minutes on medium speed.
    Stir in remaining flour.
    Knead 5 minutes on lightly floured board.
