Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    2 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    2 large cans cherry pie filling
    6 bananas, sliced
    1 large box vanilla instant pudding
    2 large containers Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box.
    Let cool.
    Divide everything into thirds.
    Mix pudding as directed on box.
    Put 1/3 cake in punch bowl.
    Layer with pudding, pineapple, cherries, bananas and Cool Whip.
    Repeat these directions twice.
    Top with remaining Cool Whip and pecans.
