Congealed Applesauce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple (including juice)
    1 (10 oz.) carbonated drink (Coke)
    3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Slowly bring applesauce to a boil. Add jello and dissolve. Add crushed pineapple, Coke and lemon juice (one at a time), stirring after each addition. Congeal.
    Serves 12.
