Squash Ritz - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    1/2 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper
    6 Ritz crackers, crushed
    2 wedges grated Gruyere cheese
Preparation
    Boil squash; drain and add butter.
    Beat egg and add to squash.
    Add onion, salt and pepper, then crackers.
    Pour into a 2-quart Pyrex casserole and sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
