Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    7 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 bottle red food coloring
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Sift remaining dry ingredients together and add eggs, beating well. Add this, milk and red food coloring to the creamed sugar and shortening.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
