Double Layer Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. marshmallow cream
3/4 c. Pet evaporated milk
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. caramel or butterscotch morsels
1 c. nuts
Preparation

In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar, butter, marshmallow cream and Pet milk. Cook and stir until a full rolling boil. Stir over medium heat 5 minutes. Take off heat and pour half of mixture into a heatproof bowl. To one half, add chocolate chips; to the other half, add caramel or butterscotch chips. Add nuts. Beat one half until chips are melted. Spread in a
well buttered dish. Beat the other half and spread over first batch. Cool. Cut into squares.
