Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomatoes, unpeeled
    1 large bell pepper
    1 large onion
    2 to 3 medium jalapenos
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. cumin
    1/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Coarsely grind tomatoes, peppers and onion in food processor. Place all ingredients except cumin and oregano in large heavy pot. Simmer uncovered over low heat to desired consistency.
    Remove from heat and add cumin and oregano.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Hot water bath for 3 minutes.
    Makes 2 1/2 pints.
