Southern Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large sweet potatoes, cooked
    salt
    brown sugar
    1 lb. pork sausage
    4 large apples, unpared
    water
Preparation
    Peel potatoes
    and cut into thin slices.
    Place half of the slices
    into
    the
    bottom
    of
    a buttered casserole dish. Cover with sausage, shaped into 4 patties.
    Add thickly sliced apples and
    sprinkle
    with salt.
    Cover with remaining potato slices
    and brush
    with water.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
