Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 small can pineapple tidbits
    1 small can mandarin oranges
    1 large can white cherries
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 lb. white seedless grapes
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients and cook over hot water (not boiling), stirring constantly until real thick.
    Put in refrigerator and cool.
    Whip the whipping cream until stiff. Thoroughly drain pineapple tidbits, mandarin oranges and white cherries.
    Add fruit, marshmallows and nuts to yolk mixture.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Refrigerate overnight.
