Special Shrimp And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/2 lb. Italian sausage
1/2 c. chopped green onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. crushed thyme
2 Tbsp. oil
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. long grain rice
1 1/2 c. water

Preparation

Saute sausage until brown. Add oil, garlic and peppers.
Cook until tender. Add parsley, seasonings, water and rice.
Stir well. Add shrimp and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cover. Cook on low heat 25 to 30 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
