Chili Warms The Heart - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground round beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves chopped garlic
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
1/2 to 1 tsp. oregano (optional)
seasoned salt to taste
Preparation

Brown the beef in a large frypan.
Drain.
Add onion and garlic and cook until tender.
Stir in chili powder and seasonings.
Add tomatoes with juice and tomato sauce.
Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
Rinse the beans and add to the chili. Cook 10 minutes more.
Serves 4.
