Filipino Style Black Cod - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    black cod steaks (frozen)
    1 round onion, sliced
    4 to 5 large, ripe tomatoes, chopped into wedges
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Season the frozen fish steaks lightly with salt and pepper. Place in a large saucepan with oil.
    Place a layer of sliced onion, followed by a layer of tomato wedges.
    Cover and simmer mixture over medium heat.
    Readjust seasoning just before serving.
