Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. peeled, sliced apples
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 pie shells
2 Tbsp. butter
small amount of milk
cinnamon-sugar
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, spices and dash of salt.
Mix with peeled, sliced apple.
Fill pie shell with apple mixture.
Dot with butter.
Cover pie with another pie shell and crimp edges together.
Cut slits in top.
Brush pie top with milk.
Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
Place pie on inverted iron skillet in a 400\u00b0 oven and bake for 50 minutes.
(This will make a crisp bottom crust.)
