Ten Minute Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. peanuts
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and salt in a 2-quart Pyrex dish. Microwave on High setting for 4 1/2 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts. Microwave on High setting for 2 1/2 minutes.
    Stir mixture. Microwave 1 more minute.
    Stir in vanilla, margarine and baking soda and beat until light and foamy.
    Spread on buttered cookie sheet.
    When cool, break into pieces.
