Never Fail Pie Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    In small saucepan mix cornstarch, sugar, water and salt.
    Cook until thick and clear (about 1 minute).
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Continue beating while slowly pouring cooked mixture. Continue beating 5 minutes.
    Cover filled pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
