Peach Marshmallow Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1/2 lb. marshmallows
    4 c. sliced peaches
    2 c. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Mix butter, confectioners sugar and beaten egg yolks.
    Cook over low heat until thick (stirring constantly).
    Remove from heat.
    Add gelatin that has been soaked in cold water 5 minutes. Cook slightly.
    Add cut up marshmallows.
    Cook thoroughly.
    Add peaches.
    Add stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Place in mold, beginning and ending with vanilla crumbs.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Serve plain or with whipped cream.
